Colin McArthur
Auctioneer
Arizona-born and Northwest-refined, Colin McArthur is an experienced fundraising auctioneer and emcee who has spent more than a decade helping organizations raise millions of dollars. From small, intimate fundraisers to large-scale galas and on-camera livestream events, Colin brings a unique blend of humor, heart, and professionalism to every stage.
Colin’s quick wit keeps audiences laughing, while his compassion ensures that the mission always comes through as urgent and worthy. As he puts it: “I love to connect with an audience, help them feel comfortable, and raise as much money as possible. If a joke is needed, I’m ready. If a story or moment of compassion will help, I’m equally as ready.”That flexibility and instinct make him a trusted partner for clients of every size and scope.
He has worked with many outstanding organizations, including Seattle Humane, Medic One Foundation, American Alpine Club, Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation, Canine Companions, Vascular Cures, Stronger Families, the 30/30 Project, and countless schools across the country.
Beyond the auction stage, Colin is part of the English faculty at North Seattle College, a freelance writer, and a part-time actor. His work spans everything from REI commercials to Macklemore music videos. Colin lives in Kirkland with his wife, Dawn, and their children, Davis and Freya.
